Stephen Ministry

This is a program in which people are trained for distinctively Christian caring ministry in and around their congregations. Stephen Ministers help people who are in crisis, or undergoing a major transition in their lives.

Stephen Ministers meet one-to-one with their Care Receivers to listen non-judgmentally and to encourage with prayer, Scripture and showing Christ's love.

Stephen Ministers complete fifty hours of training prior to being commissioned. They are not counselors, but do maintain confidentiality at all times.
